Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman, Director of the Psychology Department and Director of Center for Public Policy Research is at University of California Davis. She is well-known for her pioneering modern research of the memory of children as eyewitnesses and also the application of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman is a prolific author, has won numerous awards and grants. She has advised numerous government agencies and governments around all over the world on policy and studies pertaining to the treatment of children victims in the justice system. She works as a Consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center which was previously known as the Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a fellow of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman is part of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member, International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of The American Psychological Association's 3 divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families Policies and Practice.
